Another week, another check-in post to let you know what I”m doing.
Last week was crappy. Really crappy. But you know what…when I have a bad week I try not to beat myself up and I look ahead and think about where I went wrong and what happened. Not to tell myself I’m a loser, but to just try and use logic to improve and determine what my weaknesses are. And to learn things like “meatballs have breadcrumbs.” Ok, that’s not so much something I learned as something I remembered after I ate them.
See, I was trying to outsmart my body. I was like, “Oh, I bet meatballs without the pasta will be fine. They’re balls of meat. I’m so smart!”
But that was the night before weigh in and three big meatballs swung my weight like you wouldn’t believe. It’s like the week I had a gyro and I gained 4lbs. Two pita breads = 4lb. weight gain. Yeah, carbs HATE me. It’s not a new thing, but it’s a reminder…and who doesn’t like a good reminder.
I’m excited that work won’t keep me away from Mamavation TV this week! I get off at 5pm so that gives me ample time to get some dinner and snuggle into my comfy robe for the broadcast!
Let’s break it down…numbers style…
I meant to put today’s date but I always weigh in on Sunday morning. Keeping it consistent is important. I’m sure you can see right up front that I put my total weight loss to date (the percentage) on the picture. That’s because I’m crazy excited about it!
Starting Weight: 318.4 lbs.
Difference from Last Week: -9.4 lbs.
Total Weight Lost: 21.8 lbs. Over 20 pounds! Hooray!
Percentage of Body Weight Lost to Date: 6.84%
I don’t know if the new job that has me snacking less or what it is, but man, I have had no problems with food this week or eating carbs (that aren’t veggies) or anything. I have energy, I feel good, and now that I’m down in the 2s there in the front of the scale and not the 3s….if you were thinking about me being competitive….this is positive reinforcement at it’s finest.
It’s GO time, ladies! Dog will HUNT!
